Bendigo Wine Tours Terms & Conditions

Free Pick-up service 

We offer a pickup & drop off service prior to start of tour within a 15-kilometre radius of the Bendigo CBD. 

 

On the Heathcote wine tours – we can pick up on the way from Bendigo to Heathcote or in the Heathcote area a 5 Kilometre radius from Heathcote Post office.

Cancellation policy 

For all day tours cancellations must be in writing – please email – tours@escapecoachtours.com.au

 

2 days prior to departure will result in a 50% loss of the ticket

within 24 hours 100% loss of the ticket price

or failure to board on the day of the tour will result in 100% loss of the ticket price. 

 

Age Restrictions for wine tasting or other alcohol 

No one under 18 will be served alcohol at any time on the tour 

 

Mobility 

We do not have wheelchair accessible vehicles or the room on minibus for wheelie walkers. Passengers need to be able to step up into the bus.

 

Dietary Requirements

Special meal requests/food allergies must be advised at the time of booking. All efforts are made to accommodate special dietary requirements, like vegetarian and coeliac meals however in some locations this cannot be guaranteed. If You have life threatening food allergies, Bendigo Wine Tours is not responsible for ensuring special meals requested, meet the needs of Your particular circumstances.
It is the responsibility of You the passenger in this circumstance to make it known at the time the meals are served, that Your food allergy is life threatening.

 

Tour code of conduct

Individuals causing a disturbance will be removed from the tour, and Bendigo Wine Tours will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. Unruly or disruptive behaviour due to intoxication will not be tolerated, and any guest who becomes excessively intoxicated will be asked to leave the tour without reimbursement. Wineries retain the right to refuse service and entry to any individual. Disruptive guests will not be permitted on the vehicle.

Furthermore, no alcohol is allowed on our vehicles, and outside food or beverages are not permitted at the wineries or other tour venues, as wineries do not hold a BYO license for personal alcohol consumption. Lastly, individuals will be held accountable for any damage caused to our vehicles or at the wineries.

Bendigo Wine Tours will not be responsible for any damage caused to private or public property by passengers.

Bendigo Wine Tours emphasizes that responsible alcohol service laws are in effect at all times. Any passenger who becomes intoxicated, disruptive, offensive, violent, or quarrelsome will be removed from the tour immediately.

 

Use of Visual Media

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all passengers consent to the use and promotional marketing of video and still images captured by Bendigo Wine Tours and its drivers/hosts during the tour.

These images and videos may be utilized across social media platforms, online video platforms, and any other promotional materials created by the business, including banners, flyers, and various marketing collateral developed for advertising and promotional strategies.

 

Liability Waiver

To the extent permitted by law:

The company, along with its affiliated entities, employees, and agents, shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs, or expenses sustained or incurred (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential losses) as a result of, or in any way related to, any tour conducted by Bendigo Wine Tours. The passenger hereby releases the company from any and all claims, including but not limited to, those arising from death, bodily injury, or damage or loss of property occurring during embarkation and/or disembarkation from buses or vehicles, as well as throughout the duration of travel on any buses or vehicles, unless such claims arise from the willful misconduct or reckless disregard of the company.

In the event of a breach of these terms by the company, or a failure—either in whole or in part—to provide any contracted service (whether expressly or implicitly), the remedy for such breach shall be limited to the contractual value of the service or obligation that was not fulfilled, or, in the case of partial service, a proportional value of that service. Any liability will be assessed based on the company's own valuation of the service or obligation that is the subject of the claim.

Smoking

No smoking is permitted on any of our buses. In Victoria it is against the law to smoke on board any public transport.

 

Late for Pick up

If you are more than 10 minutes late for pick up, we will need to leave with respect to other tour attendees and winery bookings. If this happens you will not receive a refund, you will be more than welcome to meet us at the first venue to join us for the remainder of the tour.

 

Change to Itinerary

Bendigo Wine Tours has the right to change the itinerary on the day to other venues and or change the route to get to said venues.

 

The biggest condition is that you come along ready to have FUN and enjoy the day making memories with new and old friends!!
